Rules
Anyone who knows me personally knows I'm not one for strict rules, but running a public internet forum has forced my hand on this occasion.
  1. No spam, scams, or NSFW content (You will be banned).
  2. No spam or NSFW content (You will be banned).
  3. Don't shout past each other. Healthy disagreement.
FAQ

Q: Who are you?

A: My handle is Rickard. I attempt to retain some semblance of anonymity here, but I can tell you that I have over 20 years of experience in the computer games industry, and as life-long interest in the truth behind virtual worlds.

Q: Why did you form Ludonauts?

A: I reached a crossroads in my life and came to the decision that this was the best possible thing to do next.

Q: What is a Ludonaut? Is there an official membership?

A: You're thinking about it wrong. My hope is that you will come to learn what a Ludonaut is through the contents of this site, and decide for yourself whether you align with that label. I'll point you to this thread as a starting point.

Q: Is it just you running the site?

A: For the first year I did everything on my own. Since then I've come to trust a few members of our community enough to give them moderator status and limited access to the site's backend.

Q: Can I become a moderator?

A: Probably not. Our admins and moderators have been carefully selected over a long period. That said, if you show outstanding Ludonautical dedication, you may be considered.

Q: Can I advertise on the site?

A: No.

Q: Can I buy the site?

A: No.

Q: I'm a web designer. Can I redesign the site for you?

A: Fuck off.

Q: Can you let me sort forum posts by topic?

A: No. All topics are treated equally here.

Q: Will you include a link to my site somewhere?

A: Not unless it's Ludonautical in nature.

Q: Will you give feedback on my game/writing/art?

A: Yes! Start a forum thread!

Q: What is THE HERDS TRIBUNAL?

A: The event in question has been mythologized by this community to an alarming level and made out to be something much more consequential than it was. Stop emailing me about this. Stop poking your nose where it doesn't belong.
